Bandai’s Soul of Soft Vinyl figure line—ソフビ魂—is highly regarded at the Japan Hero labs. These highly detailed figures, truly capture the spirit and essence of the heroic characters they are meant to represent.

Produced in 2004, the 10th volume in the series is a figure of the heroic Android, Kikaider 01. Based on the protagonist of the 1973-74 Toei TV series Kikaider 01. This program was a sequel to Kikaider, which also featured a heroic android fighting for justice.

This figure measures roughly 6.5” in height, which makes for a strong presence when on display.

The original Kikaider 01 costume used in the 1973-74 TV series featured multiple transparent elements that provided a view into the android’s mechanical innards.
