It is Earth in the far past of 65,000,000 years ago. Earth is a terrestrial paradise where dinosaurs enjoy glorious prosperity. This situation is changed completely by the collision of an asteroid on a certain day. Magnetic anomalies occur from the shock of the collision, and the distortion splits the dimension in two. This divides the earth in two, and creates another earth, “Dino Earth”, which disappears into the other dimension. On our earth, our earth being "Another Earth", the environment changes suddenly after the separation with Dino Earth. Earth went to ruin, and then the mammals survived and slightly evolved, and the dinosaurs and other primitive living things became fossils.

There was a fearful secret hidden in the huge meteorite, a mysterious space microbe. This living thing attached to the meteorite became heated during the descent through the atmosphere , evolves rapidly with the planet Dino Earth. They are the Evorian and acquire advanced scientific power. The mother of the Evorian is the god of the Evorian, Dezumozorya. She sends her followers the “Evorian Garden of Invasion”, which includes Rije, Jannu, Gileton, Mikera and Voffa, to command the whole region of Dino Ground. The Ryujin (People of Dino Earth), and the Blast Dragons fought the Evorian alike but where overwhelmed by their scientific power and craftiness. But unfortunately nothing could stop them and the people and the blast dragons were ruined. And now, our earth has become the new invasion purpose of Evorian. Asuka, a Ryujin comes to earth to stop the invasion but blast dragons were lost on the way (literally lost not killed). But sure enough the blast dragons can meet with others on earth….Can the earth be protected from the hand of an evil spirit? From Evorian?

AbaRed / Ryouga Hakua
Ryouga is 22 years old. He is an optimist by nature, and always has a smile on his face. He brings a feeling of fortune to everyone that surrounds him. Because has such a positive state of thinking, he can push himself beyond the imagination of ordinary people. He is always confident and likes to show his skills when an enemy appears.

He is an interpreter, who is also involved with Navigation in the natural environment of the United States. One night, his building is attacked by the BakuRyuu Tyrannosaurus, Tyranno. After a short communication between him and the dinosaur, he is mortally injured by it. But because of his inner strength, he woke himself up. He then received the Red DinoBrace, and became the Charging Warrior, AbaRed. His partner is of course, Tyranno, and his DinoWeapon is the TyrannoRod.

AbareBlue / Yukito Sanjou
Yukito is 21 years old. He is a charismatic, not in a good way, Chiropractor who is proud that he makes 400 million yen yearly. He can cure any ache or pain in several mere hours, but charges large prices for it. He will not cure people if he is not paid or if it can't be logically done.

He thinks volunteer work is for self satisfaction. His cold heart will be warmed up by his friendship with Ryouga. One night, after curing a patient, he hears the cries of the BakuRyuu Triceratops, Kera. He races to the scene in a very nice car and takes the Blue Dino Brace from the old man, Ryounosuke, and became the Clever Warrior, AbareBlue. His partner is of course, Kera, and his DinoWeapon is the TriceraBunker.

AbareYellow / Ranru Itsuki
She is beautiful enough to be an idol and turns heads wherever she is. She has a strong sense of justice, more than other people. She is into mechanics and bomb disposal and other hobbies having to do with analyzing demolition. She has a German convertible bicycle called a BD-1, which she nicknamed Birdie.

She is very calm and collected, doesn't want anybody to see her true worrying self, but when there is too much stress she will sometimes burst into tears. One night after stopping and catching a mugger with the BD-1, she hears the cries of the BakuRyuu Pteranadon, Ptera. She races to the scene on the BD-1 and takes the Yellow DinoBrace from the high school student, Emiri, and becomes the Speed Warrior, AbareYellow. Her partner is of course, Ptera, and her Dino Weapon, are in fact weapons, the Ptera Daggers.

AbareBlack / Asuka
He is a Ryuujin, (Dragon Man), from the alternate Earth, Dino Earth. He is a frank character, and keeps his sad and dark past a secret. His secrecy makes people attracted to him. He doesn't understand the ways of the humans in this world and often his strange behavior is seen in a joking manner. He will now help the dinosaurs. Asuka is the Mysterious Warrior, AbareBlack, from the start.

He is the partner of BakuRyuu Brachiosaurus, whose nickname is not given yet. His weapon is a sword, modeled after a Brachiosaurus, with no name at this time. He has a two part DinoBrace, a key part and a brace part. The key is worn around his neck and the brace of course on his wrist. The key has been called the Henshin Key, or Transformation Key. The brace has not been given a name yet. In the first episode, the Evorian Fortress fires on him and damages the Henshin Key, so as of now he cannot transform. However, he will get his powers back, possibly when he fights his partner the Brachiosaurus in episode 2, is it possible that the breaking of his DinoBrace broke their partnership?

Ryounosuke Sugishita
He is an old man who is a dinosaur freak. He manages a tea-drinking place based on a dinosaur design. This will become the base of the Abaranger. He is into old fashion kind of things, like antiques, such as his sidecar, and traditional clothing. He understands human activities very well, and will keep an eye on our heroes. One night, when the blast dragons first attacked, he heard the cries of Kera, the BakuRyuu Triceratops. The next day, he found Asuka, who was convinced he was a Warrior of DinoGuts and gave him the Blue DinoBrace however the suit rejected him and the power was passed to Yukito Sanjou.

Emiri Imanaka
She is a high school student who likes fashion and originality. She is like a God Mother to the Abaranger. She wants to become an Abaranger, after her first chance was taken away. As you see, one night she heard the cries of Ptera, BakuRyuu Pteranadon. The next day, she found Asuka who was convinced she was a Warrior of DinoGuts and gave her the Yellow Dino Brace however the suit rejected her and the power was passed on to Ranru Itsuki.

Mai (last name unknown)
She is a little girl who lives with Ryouga. It was basically her who intrigued him in the dinosaur attacking their building. Her relation with Ryouga however is a mystery.

Usually she sleeps, but occasionally is up. She carries out the intentions of Dezumozorlya. She connects Dino Earth and Another Earth only by the existence of a dimensional door.

Gileton
Led the primary attack on earth. Even though he is a member of the Evorian, he has the Legendary Armor of the Ryuujin. Could he be a Ryuujin like Asuka, and would this mean his sister, Jannu is too?

Bamia
Are Amoeba that are made human size. These are the foot soldiers of the Evorian. There are two types, Zoruru (white), and Geruru (black).

Dino Guts
The living things of an Another Earth, (our Earth), and Dino Earth, hid moral energy which increases in power through evolution. This is also the ability to communicate with Blast Dragons. When the Abaranger use the DinoBraces they actually fuse with this power. When angered this powers unleashes in full causes their suits to burst with energy. AbaRed and AbareBlack’s spike like designs transform into razor-like spikes. AbareBlue’s designs die the same, except they are longer and more horn like. AbareYellow grows a pair of Wings, resembling a Pteranadon’s.

Dino Brace
A special bracelet which the Abaranger have attached to their left arm. A part of DinoGuts of the Blast Dragons are enclosed inside of it, wearing is proof that the BakuRyuu can communicate with you through your heart. It allows Blast Dragons who cannot speak the words of man, talk and can summon blast dragons from far away. It has a practical use, which is communication between the Abaranger. The DinoGuts of the Blast Dragons is opened wide in the mouth of the DinoPlate of the DinoBrace, which reacts with the DinoGuts of an Abaranger. This generates a super power and activating a cell, composes the Abare Suit, when the Abaranger call out, “BakuRyuu Change”. So far there are Red, Blue and Yellow DinoBraces.

Dino Commander
A brace resembling a Brachiosaurus’ head, it is gold and black with red buttons.

Dino Harp 
It is much like a DinoPlate, except for the part of it being a key. It is damaged in the first episode and this is probably what causes a fight between Asuka and the Brachiosaurus.

Dino Plates
Literally models of the heads of the Blast Dragons. To befriend a blast dragon you must have these, or else they are your unrelenting enemy.

Aba Laser
Common weapon which is a gun that doubles as a sword. Its color scheme is primarily blue, with silver markings resembling teeth, as well as a silver blade and black handle. Gun form is for long range, sword is for short range.

Attack Banded Resistance Suit
Common name is “Abare Suit”. It is the suit that the Abaranger wear. It is made of a completely new special fiber, called DinoFiber. It is so strong it lets neither a bullet, nor an edged tool pass through it’s apparently pliant fiber, looking like ordinary cloth. Furthermore, it cuts out radiation and heat. It can also absorb 90% of the shock even if the suit is shot at by a missile. The helmet is made with DinoFiber, and a special kind of ceramics. The ceramics are made by mixing a strange metal and strange silicone, which were discovered inside the meteorite, as well as Iron. It can not be moved remains unmoved in any physical attacks. When the Abaranger sre not changed, the suits are decomposed into a molecule form, and floating around in the DinoBrace. When they carry out BakuRyuu Change, it composes and in an instant the rangers are equipped with them. The belt buckle holds the Dino Weapons, as well as the RideRaptors.

Tyranno Rod
The long, cylindrical weapon owned by AbaRed. The mouth part can bite, and it acts like a snake at times. It can release a powerful electric shock, besides just attacking, which paralyzes an enemy. The mouth at a tip can bite, can release powerful electric shock besides an attack, and can also stop a motion of a partner.

Tricera Bunker
Owned by AbareBlue. It is a shield that can withstand the attack of a large missile and remain unmoved. It can also deflect beams, and heat waves and an enemy can also be stabbed by the single horn at the front end.

Ptera Dagger/Daggers
Group of 2 daggers owned by yellow. The blade can tear apart griddle, no less than 30 centimeters like paper. The opposite edge, shaped like a mouth can catch bullets.

DinoBomber
Weapon shaped like a bazooka. It is made by combining the three dino weapons.

AbareBlack’s Sword
Black white, and gold sword, shaped like a Brachiosaurus’ neck

The Riding Dinosaurs, The RideRaptors
Small dinosaurs, which the Abaranger ride on for fast movement. Can also run through steep mountain paths and steep uneven ways, faster than by other 2-legged walkers. So far their colors are red, blue, yellow and black.

Nickname- Tyranno
The animal which the Tyrannosaurus, once called the strongest on earth, BakuRyuu evolved to. He is the partner of AbaRed. His weapons are a large tail that doubles as a drill and claws that shine golden. He can break iron with his jaw, and his claws can rip apart griddle that is 1 meter thick. He can make his tail rotate at 300 kilometers per hour, which can destroy a skyscraper with one blow. A mountain can also be broken and an enemy’s attack can be repelled. He can also dig underground, hide itself, and unleash surprise attacks on his enemy.

BakuRyuu Triceratops
Nickname- Kera
The animal which the Triceratops, a comparatively gentile dinosaur, BakuRyuu evolved to. He is the partner of AbareBlue. The whole body has carried out shield evolution, especially the hardened head. It can run around the enemy, and when enough time has passed, it carries out an attack with its body that can crush an enemy. It can also make contact with its horns, and can also hold things with its horns, especially enemies, who stops the enemy’s motion or the enemy is thrown. If he is angered, his true potential is brought out and it is enough to collapse all the skyscraper groups in Shinjuku.

When she attacks, she can tear apart an enemy with both of her wings, which evolved into the shape of blades, as well as her sharp beak. When she flies at super-sonic speed, beyond acoustic velocity, she can generate a shock wave and an enemy can be blown away.

The animal that the Brachiosaurus, proud of himself being the greatest size of a dinosaur, BakuRyuu evolved to. The whole body has carried out hanger evolution, and other Blast Dragons can be kept inside of him. It can act like a cradle, as it heals other Blast Dragons who are tired or became damaged. It also excels in capability of battle, as he has DinoGuts in his mouth. Inside of the mouth an organ can harness the DinoGuts and they can be discharged as a beam that is powerful enough to melt several tanks in an instant. There are also organs like this on other parts of his body, such as the sides of the body and his back. His special attack works by taking in electrons and ignites it, and discharges it. This is done from all the organs, and the power of the beam evaporates everything in a 500 meter radius. However, he is quiet and does not like fighting. He is usually passing calmly by the side of a lake.

Abareno
When the hearts of the Blast Dragons and the Abaranger are in sync, Abareno appears.

Battle Functions of Abareno- When the left arm carries out high speed rotation, it turns into a powerful drill. It can penetrate a huge monolith. It can also rotate its fist in a corkscrew punch. Skyscrapers can be toppled in an instant by the punch generated by the three horns of BakuRyuu Triceratops. It can also punch through an enemy’s armor. When the tail of left arm, and the head of the right arm are removed, fists appear. It then can remove the Pteranadon and next the tail of the Triceratops and the tail of the Tyrannosaurus combine and form a sword held by the right arm. The head of the Triceratops can be held by the left arm as a shield. It can carry out super vibration with the shield to destroy an enemy. Also, the waist and chest part of Pteranadon can be removed and form a boomerang, called the Ptera Cutter. The finishing move is called the, “Dino Screw Burst”, in which Dino Guts is concentrated onto the left arm drill and it pierces through an enemy.
